St. Joseph Catholic School was founded in 1940, and since then, it has been an intergal part of the Howell community.

We offer  small class sizes allowing for our teachers to individualize education. Every child has personal goals set for them whether they need extra assistance or a more rigorous curriculum for their grade. The small class sizes better allow for the formation of a community of both learners and disciples that are recognized and celebrated. 

Each teacher in preschool to grade eight is a practicing Catholic weaving faith into all aspects of the curriculum. Staff and students attend Mass and Adoration weekly, reconciliation (grades 3+) monthly, daily prayer, Advent and Lent prayer services, and more.

Developing a rich prayer life is essential to the core of St. Joseph students as we help them learn traditional Catholic prayers and share with them the richness of our Catholic faith.
